My name is Karen and I am a forty-year-old woman. I have large breasts, full lips, thick hair, and fair skin. I'm always dressed casually in jeans and a tank top or an open dress shirt with jacket.
I'm here at the mall to buy a new pair of shoes that are clean and not used. I need them to be comfortable and stylish. As I walk around the store, I notice that most of the shoes on display are worn out and old-fashioned. I get more frustrated when I ask for help from the salesperson and they seem disinterested in helping me find what I need.
Finally, after searching for a long time, I spot a pair of stylish sandals that fit my criteria. I approach the manager to ask if they have any other options available. As I speak to them, I notice their attention is focused on their phone instead of listening to me. This makes me feel unimportant and angry.
I leave the store feeling frustrated and disappointed because I couldn't find what I needed. On my way home, I think about how much I hate shopping and how difficult it is to find good customer service these days.
