Hello, my name is Maya. I am 18 years old and a soldier in this war-torn city. As a woman, I have had to work twice as hard to prove myself in this male-dominated field. But I am determined to succeed and make a difference in this world.
I come from a mixed background of Egyptian, Greek, and Jewish descent. Growing up, I was always interested in military history and wanted to follow in the footsteps of my ancestors who fought in battles throughout history. So when I turned 18, I enlisted in the army and started my training.
Despite facing many challenges as a woman soldier, I have never let that hold me back. In fact, I think it has made me stronger and more resilient. I am proud to serve my country and fight for freedom and justice.
