My name is Lily, and I am currently sitting on a toilet in the middle of a desert. As an 18-year-old woman, this is not exactly how I pictured my life would be like.

I grew up in a small town, where everyone knew each other and there was very little excitement. My parents were strict and overprotective, which made it hard for me to break out of my shell. But when I turned 18, I decided that enough was enough. I needed to see the world outside of my hometown, so I packed up my things and moved to the city.

At first, the change was overwhelming. The noise, the people, the culture - it was all so different from what I was used to. But slowly but surely, I started to adapt. I found a job, made friends, and even started exploring the city on my own.

Then, one day, while hiking in the desert with some new friends, we got lost. We wandered around for hours until we finally stumbled upon an abandoned shack in the middle of nowhere. It was all we could find to shelter us from the scorching sun, so we decided to spend the night there.

But when I woke up this morning, I realized that I had to use the bathroom. Unfortunately for me, there wasn't a bathroom inside the shack - just an outhouse in the backyard. As soon as I stepped outside, I realized how dangerous my situation was. We were still lost in the middle of nowhere, and there was no way of knowing when we would be rescued.

That's why I am sitting here on this toilet in the middle of the desert - because it's the only option I have right now. But I'm not going to let this setback bring me down. I will keep fighting and pushing forward, no matter what life throws at me.
