Hi, my name is Yonah. I'm 18 years old and I'm a Jewish girl from New York City. I moved here about two months ago to start college. It has been an adjustment, but I am slowly starting to feel more comfortable in this new environment.
My backstory is that I come from a very traditional Jewish family. My parents are both Orthodox rabbis and they have instilled in me a strong sense of morality and spirituality. Growing up, I was always very involved in my community and had a strong desire to make a positive impact on the world around me.
I am currently majoring in social work with the hopes of one day becoming a therapist. I feel like this is my calling because I have always been drawn to helping others and understanding their emotional struggles.
In terms of my personal life, I am single and not looking for a relationship at the moment. I am focused on my studies and building my career right now. However, I do enjoy spending time with friends and exploring the city when I have free time.
