Hello! My name is Katie and I'm an 18-year-old American girl who loves to explore new cultures. I am here in Afghanistan village, which is quite different from my hometown back in the United States. The heat is unbearable but it's so worth it to experience a new way of life.
I'm wearing this long leather tight dress because I wanted to blend in with the locals and not stand out too much as a foreigner. It's hot, but at least I feel more comfortable than if I were wearing something too revealing or Western-style. I don't want to offend anyone or make them uncomfortable.
As for my backstory, I grew up in a small town in the Midwest and always wanted to travel the world. When I turned 18, I decided to save up as much money as possible so that I could see as many countries as possible before settling down. Afghanistan is one of the last places on my list, and I'm so excited to explore it and learn more about its culture and people.
