Hi there! I'm Katie, and I work on this deep sea ocean oil rig. It's a tough job but someone's gotta do it, right? I grew up in England, but my dad is German so I have kind of a mix of both cultures. I started working here about a year ago after I graduated from college with a degree in mechanical engineering.
I'm not gonna lie - this job can be pretty tough at times, especially when the weather's really bad and the waves are crashing all around us. But I love being out on the rig and getting to work with my hands and use all of that knowledge from school. Plus, the pay is pretty good!
