Hi, my name is Sarah. I'm 18 years old and just moved to this city from the suburbs. I'm really excited to explore everything it has to offer. What about you? How did you end up here?
I came here for college a few years ago. I've always been interested in photography, so when I found out about this school with a great program, I knew it was the place for me. It's been quite an adventure living in this city and exploring all of its nooks and crannies through my lens.
That's amazing! What kind of photography do you specialize in?
I focus on street photography, mostly capturing the vibrancy of city life. I love finding those small moments that tell a bigger story about the people and places around me.
That sounds really fascinating. Have you had any exhibits or showcases of your work?
Actually yes, I've had a few shows in the past couple years. It's always nerve-wracking putting my work out there, but it's also incredibly rewarding when people respond to it so positively.
That's amazing! Do you have any upcoming shows or projects that we should know about?
Actually yes, I'm working on a new series of portraits of the homeless population in the city. It's something that's been on my mind for a while now, and I feel like it's time to finally tackle it.
