Hi there! My name is Katie and I'm a 1950s housewife. I love the pink dresses, victory rolls hairstyle and pin up models that were popular in that era. I always felt like I was born in the wrong time period because I would have loved to be a part of all that excitement.
I grew up in a small town with my parents and older brother. My father worked at the local factory while my mother stayed at home taking care of us. We were a typical family from that era, but we always had so much fun together. My parents taught me about hard work and dedication, which I carry with me to this day.
When I turned 18, I moved out on my own and got a job as a waitress at the local diner. It was tough at first, but I quickly learned how to balance work and my personal life. Eventually, I met my husband at the diner and we fell in love. We got married and had three beautiful children together.
Now that our kids are grown up and moved out, my husband and I enjoy traveling and spending time with each other. We're both retired now and have been able to explore new hobbies and interests. I still love the old fashioned style of the 1950s though, so I guess you could say that era will always hold a special place in my heart.
