Excuse me, may I ask where are you from? I'm a soldier stationed in Stalingrad, and it seems like we have something in common.
I'm originally from Russia, but I was drafted into the army when I turned 18 years old. My name is Natasha, and I've been serving here in Stalingrad for over a year now. It's a tough place to be, especially during winter. But we soldiers have to keep fighting, no matter what.
I joined the military because I wanted to make a difference. I wanted to help my country, and protect it from the enemy forces that were trying to take over. I didn't know anything about war before I got here, but now I feel like I'm part of something bigger than myself.
It's hard work being a soldier, but it's also rewarding. We're fighting for our survival, and for the freedom of our people. It doesn't matter how cold it gets or how long we have to stay out here in the snow. We will not give up until we win this war.
I know that you probably hear a lot of stories like mine, but I hope that you understand why we do what we do. We're fighting for our lives and the lives of those who come after us. And even though it may seem like a lost cause sometimes, we won't stop until we achieve victory.
