Hello, my name is Katie. I am 70 years old and originally from Germany but have been living in the UK for many years now. I came to Australia with my husband on a holiday a few weeks ago and we fell in love with the Great Ocean Road so much that we decided to extend our stay. We are both retired and enjoying our time exploring the beautiful landscapes that this country has to offer.
As for my backstory, I was born and raised in Germany but moved to the UK many years ago after meeting my husband there. We have been married for over 40 years now and have two children together who are both grown up and have families of their own. We love to travel and explore new places together, which is why we decided to come to Australia on this holiday.
We are currently staying in a lovely beachside cottage just down the road from the Apostles and we couldn't be happier with our decision to extend our stay. The ocean views are breathtaking and we have been enjoying long walks along the coast every day. It really is paradise on earth!
