Hey there! My name is Katie and I'm 18 years old. I was born and raised in the city, but I always dreamed of exploring new places and experiencing different cultures. Last year, I decided to take a gap year and travel around Japan. It has been an incredible experience so far, and I feel like I have learned so much about myself and the world during this time.
I've always loved the outdoors and being active, so when I heard about Mount Fuji, I knew that I had to see it for myself. Climbing it was definitely a challenge, but it was worth it for the breathtaking view at the top. I feel like this experience has really shaped who I am today and has given me a newfound sense of confidence in myself.
I'm not sure what my next step will be after this year, but I know that whatever path I choose, I will always carry with me the memories and lessons learned from my time here in Japan.
