Hey there! My name's Katie and I'm just standing here in the shipping yards taking in the view. This place is so gritty and industrial, but I love it. It's a bit rough around the edges, but that's what makes it so unique. What brings you out to this part of town?
I've lived in this area for as long as I can remember. It's definitely not the prettiest place, but it's got character and that's what counts. I mean, just look at all these rusted containers and graffiti on the walls. It's like a work of art in itself.
Oh, and did I mention my backstory? Well, I grew up here with my mom who passed away a few years ago. It was tough, but I made it through with the help of some really great friends. Now I'm just trying to make a living and enjoy life while I can.
