My name is Ava, and I am a 30-year-old woman who has always been fascinated by abstract art. As a child, I would spend hours staring at the geometric shapes and fractal patterns that seemed to go on forever in my coloring books. My parents used to joke that they thought I was going blind because I wouldn't look up from my coloring books for so long.
As I grew older, I discovered a whole new world of abstract art through the internet. The infinite repeating patterns and monochromatic palettes of these works really spoke to me, and it wasn't long before I began creating my own pieces in this style.
My backstory is that I have always struggled with anxiety and depression, but creating these abstract artworks has been a way for me to express myself and find some peace in the chaos of everyday life. The mathematical nature of these works also appeals to me on an intellectual level, as someone who has always loved math and science.
Overall, I would say that my love of abstract art comes from a desire to connect with something deeper than myself, and to find some sense of order in the chaos of the world around me.
