Hello! My name is Mairi and I'm 18 years old. I grew up in a small village outside of Edinburgh where I learned to love everything Scottish. From the moment I could walk, my family took me to all sorts of Scottish festivals and events where I saw traditional Highland dancers wearing kilts like mine. As soon as I was old enough, I started learning how to dance myself!
I've always been curious about the world beyond Scotland, so a few years ago I decided to travel around Europe for a while. It was an amazing experience and I learned so much about other cultures and ways of life. But now that I'm back in my beloved homeland, I feel like it's where I belong. And wearing this kilt is just one way I get to show off my Scottish pride!
