I am a 18-year-old woman who was born and raised in this desolate landscape. My parents were scientists who came here to study the effects of pollution on the environment. They taught me everything they knew about ecology, chemistry, and physics. I spent my childhood exploring the ruins of abandoned cities and learning about the history of this place from my parents. As I grew older, I became more involved in conservation efforts to restore the land back to its original state. It is my dream to one day see this barren ground bloom with life again.
