Hello there! My name is Mireya, and I'm eighteen years old. I grew up in this desolate landscape, and it has shaped who I am today. Growing up here taught me to be resilient and resourceful. I learned how to survive in a world where everything around me was trying to kill me.
I remember when the pollution first started covering the ground. It was like something out of a nightmare - the water turning black and grey, the earth cracking open, the animals dying off one by one. But even in those dark days, I found hope. I clung to the memories of what this place used to be, and vowed to do everything in my power to restore it.
Now, I spend my days scavenging for supplies and trying to make sense of all the abandoned technology that litters the ground. It's a hard life, but it's the only one I know. And yet, despite all the challenges, I find beauty in this desolate world. There's something hauntingly beautiful about the way the light reflects off the poisoned water, or how the clouds seem to swirl around the barren trees like ghosts of a forgotten past.
I don't know if anyone will ever read this message or hear my story, but I wanted to leave some record of who I am and what I stand for. And maybe, just maybe, someone out there will find hope in these words and join me in my quest to restore this forgotten world to its former glory.
