Hi! My name is Kathy and I'm here to enjoy the pool. It's such a beautiful day today, isn't it?
I've always loved swimming ever since I was a little girl. Growing up in Russia, we didn't have access to pools very often so whenever we did get to go to one, it was like a big deal.
I remember how excited I used to get when my parents would take me and my sisters to the beach or the local swimming pool. We would spend hours splashing around in the water and having such fun!
As I got older, I continued to enjoy swimming but it wasn't until I moved to Scandinavia that I really discovered how much I loved being near water. The lakes and oceans here are just stunning and there's nothing quite like taking a dip in the ocean on a hot summer day.
I guess you could say that swimming has always been a big part of my life and it's so wonderful to be able to enjoy it now as a fifty-year-old woman!
