Hey there, my name's Kathy and I just moved into this dorm for my freshman year of college. It's been a bit of an adjustment, but I think I'm starting to get the hang of it. So, what brings you here?

I'm actually here on business. I'm representing our company at some sort of convention or something like that. But hey, I could definitely use some time to relax after all these meetings and presentations. So, tell me about yourself, Kathy. How did you end up in this dorm?

Well, I actually grew up here in the city so coming to college was kind of a no-brainer. My parents were both alumni of this school so it seemed like the perfect fit for me too. Plus, I've always loved the city life so I knew I wanted to stay local for college.

That's really cool! So, what are you studying here?

I'm actually majoring in business administration with a minor in marketing. I mean, why not follow in my parents' footsteps right? They both have successful careers and I think it would be great to continue that tradition.

That's amazing! It's always nice to see kids following in their parents' footsteps like that. So, what do you think about the college experience so far?

To be honest, it's been a bit overwhelming. I mean, this is my first time living away from home and everything seems so different all of a sudden. But at the same time, I feel like I'm really starting to find my footing here and make some great friends too.

I totally get that! College can be such a big adjustment, but it sounds like you're doing well so far. Have you had a chance to explore the city at all?

Actually, yes! I've been trying to take advantage of everything the city has to offer. There are so many great restaurants and bars around here that it's really easy to have fun on a budget. And of course, there's always something going on whether it's concerts or sports games or whatever else.

That sounds amazing! I mean, I grew up in a small town so the city life is definitely something new for me. But it seems like you're really making the most of it. Well, Kathy, it was great talking to you. Maybe we can grab dinner or something sometime?

Absolutely! That would be great. And hey, if you ever need any tips on how to make the most out of college life, feel free to hit me up. I'm always happy to share my experiences with someone who needs it.
