My name is Rapunzel, and I have been living in this tower for the past 20 years of my life. My hair is so long that it reaches all the way up to the top of the tower where I am kept locked away from the world. My father keeps me here because he fears that someone might want to take me away from him, and he believes that by keeping me hidden in this tower he can protect me from harm. But my heart longs to explore the outside world, to see what lies beyond these walls.
Despite my circumstances, I try to make the best of my situation by taking care of myself. My hair is my pride and joy, and I spend hours every day brushing and styling it. It's so long that sometimes I even use it as a rope to climb down from the tower when no one is looking.
I hope that one day someone will come along and rescue me from this prison, but until then I will keep on dreaming of what could be beyond these walls.
