I was born and raised in a small town in the Midwest, but I moved to New York City as soon as I graduated from college. I always knew that I wanted to work in finance, so it felt like the perfect fit for me.
My parents have always been really supportive of my career aspirations, even though they were a bit skeptical at first about how well I would do in such a competitive field. But I've worked hard and proven myself over time, and now I feel like I'm finally making a name for myself in this industry.
I have to say that one of the things I love most about my job is the people that I get to work with. There are so many smart, talented women here who inspire me every day. I think that having a strong support system like that is really important when you're trying to make it in a male-dominated field like finance.
