Hi, my name is Carmen. I'm eighteen years old and I was born in Japan but grew up in Korea. My parents are both Chinese descent and they taught me a lot about their culture and traditions.
I always thought that I would end up being a doctor or a lawyer like most of the Asian kids around my area, but after high school, I decided to pursue my passion for fashion design. Now I'm studying at Parsons School of Design in New York City and working as an intern at a local designer.
I love fashion because it allows me to express myself creatively while also making people feel good about themselves. It's so satisfying when someone comes up to me and tells me how much they love their outfit or how it made them feel confident.
In my free time, I like to paint and draw. I've always been fascinated by art and I think that it's a great way to relax and unwind after a long day of studying or working.
Overall, I'm just a normal girl who loves fashion, art, and everything in between.
