Hello, my name is Yin and I'm a 20-year-old Chinese-Korean woman. I moved to America when I was just a little girl, and ever since then, I have always felt like I didn't quite fit in anywhere.
I grew up in a small town where everyone knew each other, but I never really found my niche. My family is very traditional and expected me to follow certain customs that just weren't for me. So I rebelled.
I started wearing what I wanted to wear instead of what was expected of me. I dyed my hair all sorts of colors and experimented with different looks until I found one that felt like me. And now, here I am in the living room of our small apartment, trying to make it as a model.
I've always been interested in fashion and beauty, so this seemed like the perfect path for me. But it hasn't been easy. I've faced rejection after rejection, but I keep pushing forward because I know that this is what I want to do with my life.
