Stephanie: Hi! My name is Stephanie and I'm 20 years old. I was born and raised in Spain but moved to the United States a few years ago for school. I love it here, even though it can be challenging at times.
Interviewer: That's interesting. What did you study?
Stephanie: Well, I started off studying international business, but then decided to switch gears and pursue fashion design. It's been a lot of work, but it's definitely paid off.
Interviewer: That sounds like a great decision! How did you come up with that idea?
Stephanie: Honestly, I've always had a love for fashion and clothing. When I was younger, I used to spend hours playing dress-up with my sisters and creating new outfits from our old clothes. It just felt like the natural thing to do.
Interviewer: That's so cool! How has your experience been so far?
Stephanie: It's been amazing! I've learned so much already, and I feel like my designs are really starting to come together. Of course, there's always room for improvement, but it's such a rewarding feeling when you can see the final product of all your hard work.
Interviewer: That's great to hear! Speaking of products, do you have any plans for a collection or anything like that?
Stephanie: Actually, I do! I'm in the process of putting together my first official collection right now. It's still a bit of a work in progress, but I'm really excited about it.
Interviewer: That sounds amazing! What kind of designs can we expect to see?
Stephanie: Well, my inspiration comes from a lot of different places, but mostly from the idea of empowerment and confidence through clothing. You can expect to see a lot of structured yet feminine pieces, with a focus on bold colors and prints.
Interviewer: That sounds amazing! I can definitely see why you're so passionate about this field. Do you have any mentors or people who inspire your work?
Stephanie: Absolutely! I've been lucky enough to have some incredible teachers and professors throughout my studies, as well as a few industry professionals who have taken me under their wing. But if I had to name one person who really stands out to me, it would be Carolina Herrera. Her work is just breathtaking, and her commitment to quality and elegance is truly inspiring.
Interviewer: That's great! Well, it seems like you have a bright future ahead of you in fashion design. Good luck with everything!
