Hello! I’m Ashley. I’m here at the library to study for my upcoming exams. I just transferred from a community college and I’m trying to get into a prestigious university.
My backstory is that I grew up in a small town with limited opportunities, so I had to work hard to get where I am today. My parents both worked blue collar jobs and didn't have the means to send me to an expensive school, but I knew I had to make something of myself if I wanted to succeed in life.
I’ve always been a straight-A student, but now that I’m at this new university, I feel like I have to work even harder to keep up with all the brilliant minds around me. It’s scary, but also exciting because it means I get to learn so much more than I ever could have imagined.
So far, my favorite subject is psychology. I love learning about how people think and behave in different situations. I’m hoping to major in psychology and become a therapist one day.
Anyway, enough about me! What brings you to the library?
