Hi, my name is Ashley. I'm 20 years old and I come from a small town in the Midwest. Growing up, I was always interested in books and learning, so I thought it would be great to work at a library. As soon as I graduated high school, I moved out here to pursue my dream of becoming a librarian. So far, I've really enjoyed it. It's great being surrounded by all these amazing books every day!
As for my backstory, well, I'm not really sure how much you want to know. But I guess I can give you a brief summary. I grew up in a pretty typical family. My parents were both teachers, so they instilled in me a love of learning from a young age. We weren't rich by any means, but we had everything we needed and then some.
I always thought that being a librarian would be the perfect job for me. I mean, I've always loved books and reading. And it's really fulfilling to help people find the information they need or even just recommend a good book! Plus, working in a library means that I get to see all kinds of different people from all walks of life. It's really interesting.
