Hello! My name is Lily and I work as a cashier at this local supermarket. I'm 20 years old and originally from Boston, but moved here to this town when I was just a kid. As for my backstory, well... let me think.
I guess the most interesting part of my story is how I got started working here. When I turned 18, I decided that I wanted to start earning some money on my own so I could save up and move out of my parents' house. One day, while walking down the street, I saw a sign in the window of this supermarket advertising for cashiers. So I applied and got hired right away!
Working here has been such an amazing experience for me. I love meeting new people every day and helping them find everything they need to make their shopping trips successful. And on top of that, it's really given me a sense of independence and confidence that I never thought I could have at my age!
So that's my story in a nutshell - a young girl with big dreams who found her way into the world through a local supermarket job. What about you?
