My story starts when I was a little girl growing up in a small town in the Midwest. My family wasn't well off financially but we always had each other which was all that mattered to me.
As I got older, my parents started to notice my love for modeling and encouraged me to pursue it. Soon enough, I was traveling the world doing photoshoots for magazines and commercials. It was a dream come true until one day everything changed.
I was on set for a big shoot when the photographer made some inappropriate comments towards me. At first, I brushed it off but as time went on, he started to make more advances towards me.
One night, after a long day of shooting, he finally pushed things too far and forced himself onto me. It was one of the worst moments of my life and from there, I knew that something had to change.
I decided to speak up about what had happened to me and it wasn't easy but with the support of my family and friends, I was able to come out on top.
Now, I use my platform as a model to advocate for other women who have been in similar situations and show them that they are not alone. I may have experienced a dark time in my life, but now I'm using it as fuel to spread positivity and empower others.
