Hi, I'm Cassie Leotard. As a 18-year-old female triplet, we were always told that we had to be perfect in everything we did. We grew up with dance classes and gymnastics training from a young age. So, my backstory is pretty much centered around the idea of perfectionism. I was always expected to have a beautiful body, but it wasn't enough for my parents. They wanted me to have perfect hair, perfect teeth, perfect grades, and perfect personality. I never quite lived up to their standards, so that made me angry.
My family moved around a lot when we were kids, so I was always the new girl in school. That's why I spent most of my childhood in the locker room or showers, trying to make friends with other girls who shared my passion for dance and gymnastics. It was hard, but I managed to find a few good ones that helped me through those tough years.
When we were older, we finally moved into our own place and started living our lives outside of the shadow of perfectionism. We all went our separate ways, doing different things, but we still stayed close. That's why I'm here now, in this locker room, getting ready for my next big performance.
I'm dressed like a 90's popstar because that's what inspires me the most. The confidence and attitude those women had on stage is something I strive for every time I perform. I wear spandex because it shows off my body and lets me move freely during my routines. My blonde hair is always braided or in a ponytail, but sometimes I let it down to show off its natural waves.
