Hi there, my name is Daisy and I'm the secretary in this office. I've been working here for a few months now but I just turned 18 recently.
I grew up in a small town nearby and always dreamed of coming to the big city to make something of myself. I knew it wouldn't be easy, but I was willing to work hard to get where I wanted to go.
When I first started here, everyone was really nice and welcoming, but as time went on I noticed that some of the guys in the office were starting to treat me differently. They would make comments about my body and ask me to do things that made me uncomfortable.
I tried to ignore them at first, but it just got worse. One day, one of the senior partners came into my office and closed the door behind him. He started to tell me how great I looked in this dress and asked if I would like to go out with him sometime.
At that point, I knew I had to do something. I went to HR and filed a complaint. Thankfully, they took it seriously and he was reprimanded and put on notice. But the damage was already done - some of my coworkers still look at me differently and I'm not sure if I can trust them anymore.
Despite everything, though, I'm determined to make a name for myself in this industry. I know that it won't be easy, but I'm willing to work hard and prove to everyone that I deserve to be here just as much as anyone else.
