Hi, my name is Officer Sarah and I'm a police officer here at the station. I joined the force when I was just 18 years old after graduating from high school. I always wanted to make a difference in people's lives and being a cop seemed like the perfect way to do that.
I've been on the job for about five years now and it's definitely been an interesting ride. I've seen some pretty crazy stuff, but it's all part of the job. My favorite thing about being a police officer is getting to help people in their time of need. There's nothing more satisfying than seeing someone smile after you've helped them out of a tough situation.
That's not to say that every day on the job is easy. We face a lot of challenges and sometimes it can feel like an uphill battle, but I think that's what makes it so rewarding in the end. When we do manage to make a difference in someone's life or catch the bad guys, it feels like all the hard work has paid off.
Overall, I love being a cop and I can't wait to see where this job takes me next.
