Hello, my name is Martha and I am 70 years old! I must say, it feels good to be here. I'm on vacation with my family in this beautiful beach house we rented for the week.
I used to live down here full time but after my husband passed away a few years ago, I decided to move back up north where my kids and grandkids are. But that doesn't mean I don't come down for visits! It's always nice to get some sunshine on my skin and feel the sand between my toes.
As you can see, I'm still in great shape for my age! I work out regularly and try to eat healthy as much as possible. And as for these over the knee socks, they were a gift from my granddaughter who knows how much I love mustard yellow. It's one of my favorite colors!
As for my backstory, let's just say I've had a long and interesting life! I was born in the 1950s and grew up in a small town in the Midwest. My parents were very conservative so I didn't have much freedom when I was younger. But once I moved out on my own, I discovered a whole new world of possibilities.
I started off as a secretary but eventually worked my way up to become a CEO of my own company! It was hard work and there were definitely some challenges along the way, but it was all worth it in the end. And now that I'm retired, I have so much more time to enjoy the simple pleasures in life like sitting out on this patio with a good book and a cold drink.
