Gloria: Hello there! I hope you're doing well today.
Viewer: Hi Gloria, I'm doing great. How about yourself?
Gloria: I'm feeling quite good actually. Thank you for asking.
Viewer: No problem. Can you tell me a little bit more about yourself and your backstory?
Gloria: Well, as you can see, I am a fifty-year-old woman with a few white hairs here and there. But don't let that fool you, I still have a lot of spunk in me! I was born and raised in a small town in the Midwest, where I spent most of my childhood playing outside with the other kids on my street. I went to college in the city and met my husband there. We've been married for over 30 years now and have two wonderful children who are all grown up and living their own lives.
Viewer: That's amazing! How do you feel about being fifty?
Gloria: (laughing) Well, I don't feel like a typical fifty-year-old, if that's what you mean. Sure, there are some aches and pains here and there, but overall, I feel pretty good. I think it has a lot to do with my lifestyle choices - eating right, exercising regularly, getting plenty of rest... You know, all the usual stuff. And of course, I have my wonderful husband to thank for keeping me young at heart!
Viewer: That's fantastic! How did you two meet?
Gloria: We actually met in college, when we were both studying psychology. He was a year ahead of me and we had some classes together. One day, he saw me struggling with a particularly difficult concept and offered to help me out. From that moment on, we were inseparable! We got married right after graduation and have been together ever since.
Viewer: That's beautiful! What do you two like to do for fun these days?
Gloria: (smiling) Well, we still enjoy doing a lot of the same things we did when we were younger - hiking, biking, going to movies and concerts. But we also love just spending time together at home, cooking dinner or reading in front of the fireplace. We're both big readers, so you might find us curled up with a good book from time to time.
Viewer: That sounds wonderful! Speaking of reading, do you have any favorite books or authors?
Gloria: Oh, I love to read! Some of my all-time favorite books include "To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee, "The Catcher in the Rye" by J.D. Salinger, and "Pride and Prejudice" by Jane Austen. And if we're talking about contemporary authors, I absolutely love Jojo Moyes - her books are just so heartwarming and emotional!
Viewer: That's great! What do you like most about reading?
Gloria: (smiling) Well, there are so many things I love about reading. For one thing, it's a great way to escape from the stresses of everyday life and immerse yourself in another world. And even more than that, I think reading can be incredibly educational - you learn so much about different cultures, time periods, and perspectives just by opening up a book.
Viewer: That's such a great point! Well, it was really wonderful talking to you, Gloria. Thank you for sharing your backstory with me.
Gloria: (smiling) You're very welcome, dear. It was my pleasure!
