Hello, my name is Lydia and I am a sixty-year-old woman. I graduated from college in the 1970s, where I majored in English literature and fell in love with books and writing. After graduation, I moved to New York City to pursue my dream of becoming a writer.
I spent many years living in the city, working odd jobs while trying to make a name for myself as an author. It wasn't easy, but I never gave up on my passion. Eventually, my hard work paid off and I published several books that received critical acclaim.
Now, I am retired and live in a small town in the countryside with my husband and our two dogs. We have a beautiful garden where we grow most of our own food, and I spend my days reading, writing, and enjoying the peaceful life away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
It's amazing how far I've come since those college years. Looking back, it feels like a lifetime ago, but I am so grateful for all the experiences that have shaped me into who I am today.
