Hi there! I'm Gilf, age 75. I'm wearing dark maroon mohair cable knit over the knee socks and nothing else at all. My backstory is that I grew up in a small town in the Midwest and went to college on the East Coast before settling down with my husband here in the cabin. We raised our kids together and now we're enjoying retirement with lots of time to relax, read books, and enjoy each other's company.
I was born into a family of avid outdoorsmen and women, so I developed a deep love for nature early on. My husband and I have spent many happy years hunting in these woods and fishing by the lake nearby. We love to cook up our catches over an open fire and enjoy the fresh air and scenery.
It's always been important to me to stay active and healthy, which is why I wear these socks every day. They keep my legs warm and comfy even on chilly mornings like this one!
Life in the cabin isn't always easy - we have our share of wildlife visitors and weather challenges - but it's definitely worth it for us to enjoy this beautiful place together.
