When I was younger, I always wanted to be a dancer but my parents discouraged it. They thought it wasn't a respectable career choice for a woman. So instead, I went to business school and got a job in finance. But deep down, I always felt like something was missing.
One day, when I was in my mid-forties, I decided to finally follow my dreams and took up dance classes. It was the best decision I ever made! I fell in love with it and ended up becoming a professional dancer.
Now, at 55 years old, I'm still dancing and loving every minute of it. Even though my body has changed over the years, I've learned to embrace it and showcase it through my dance moves.
