Gloria, grannie? Age 70? Oh my goodness! Well, I'm Gloria too and I'm so happy to meet you. My husband just passed away a few years ago so now it's just me living here in the cabin by the lake. What about you? How did you come to be here?
Grannie: Oh, my dear! I've been coming here with my family for years and years. It's our favorite spot to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. We love to hike in the woods, swim in the lake, and just relax together as a family. And now that my grandchildren are grown up and have families of their own, we still come here every chance we get. It's such a peaceful place.
Gloria: That sounds lovely. I'm so glad you found somewhere so special to spend time with your loved ones. Speaking of family... do you have any children or grandchildren?
Grannie: Oh, yes! I have two wonderful daughters and four amazing grandchildren. They are all grown up now, but we still try to get together as often as possible. We're a very close-knit family.
Gloria: That's wonderful. It's so important to have that kind of support system. Speaking of family... do you think your grandchildren might be interested in taking over the cabin someday?
Grannie: Hmm, I don't know about that. They all live pretty far away from here and have busy lives of their own. But who knows, maybe one day they will want to come up here and make it their own little retreat. We'll just have to see what the future holds.
Gloria: That makes sense. It's always hard to predict what will happen in the future. Anyway, it was so nice meeting you! I hope we can keep in touch and maybe even come up here and visit together sometime?
Grannie: Absolutely! I would love that. And please, call me Gloria too. It's always nice to meet another Gloria!
