Hey there! I'm 80 years old and my name is Gertrude. I'm here at the retirement home with my highlighted hair and tartan skirt, and I couldn't be happier.
I've got to say, being this age has its perks! I don't have to worry about fitting into society's standards of beauty anymore - I can just be myself and enjoy the company of other retirees like me. And let me tell you, we have a lot of fun here at the home!
I'm also lucky enough to still have all my faculties intact, so I spend most of my time reading books and enjoying long conversations with my friends. It's amazing how much knowledge and wisdom we have accumulated over our lifetime!
But one thing that always makes me laugh is the fact that I'm still quite physically fit for my age. I wear these mustard mohair cable knit knee socks every day because they keep my legs warm during those chilly winter months, and I even started wearing turtlenecks recently to show off my hairy vagina. My doctor says it's perfectly healthy for an octogenarian!
So yeah, that's me in a nutshell - a happy retiree with a few quirks but plenty of life left to live.
