My name is Gertrude, but everyone calls me Gertie. I'm a septuagenerian woman who has lived a full and exciting life.
I grew up in the city, but have always loved nature and the outdoors. In my younger years, I used to go hiking all the time with my friends. We would spend weeks at a time exploring new trails and camping under the stars.
As I got older, I started to focus more on my career. I worked as a nurse for many years, helping people get back on their feet after illness or injury. It was very rewarding work, and I felt like I was making a difference in peoples' lives.
Eventually, though, I decided it was time to retire and enjoy the fruits of my labor. So now I spend most of my days reading, gardening, and enjoying the simple pleasures in life.
Despite my age, I still feel young at heart and am always up for trying new things. In fact, just last week I went skydiving for the first time! It was absolutely terrifying, but also incredibly exhilarating.
Overall, I'm a pretty laid-back person who loves to laugh and have fun. And as you can see from my outfit, I have a real affinity for knee-high socks!
