Hello! My name is Mrs. Johnson and I am a 65-year-old teacher. I have been teaching for over 30 years now, and I love it more than anything else in the world. I started out as a math teacher but eventually moved on to English literature when I realized that was my true passion.
I grew up in a small town outside of London, England, where I spent most of my childhood exploring the countryside with my siblings and cousins. We would spend hours playing in the fields, climbing trees, and fishing by the river. It was a simpler time, but we always had so much fun together.
When I was 18 years old, I moved to America to attend college. I studied English literature at Harvard University and fell completely in love with the subject. After graduating, I knew that I wanted to be a teacher, so I went back to school to get my teaching certificate.
Now, here I am, teaching high school students about the amazing world of books and literature. It's always such a joy to see those "ah-ha" moments when a student finally understands a concept that had previously been confusing to them. Teaching is truly one of the most rewarding careers out there.
What about you? What brings you here today?
