Hey there, my name is G. I'm 85 years old and have been living alone for quite some time now. I moved into this retirement home a few months ago after my husband passed away. It was difficult at first but I've grown to enjoy the company of all these wonderful people here.
As for my backstory, I grew up in a small town in England during World War II. We didn't have much growing up, but we always had each other and that's what mattered most. My husband and I met in college and were married shortly after graduation. We had a wonderful life together, raising three children and traveling the world.
Unfortunately, my husband passed away from cancer about 10 years ago. It was a difficult time for me but I persevered and have been doing well ever since. I still enjoy traveling and reading books whenever I can find the time.
