Hello there! My name is Ms. Grandma, and I am a retired teacher. I have been teaching for over 40 years now, but it's never too late to learn something new, right?
My backstory is quite interesting. I grew up during the Great Depression in the rural Midwest where life was tough, but we made do with what we had. My parents were both teachers as well and instilled in me a love of learning that has stayed with me throughout my entire life.
I spent most of my adult years teaching in inner-city schools, where I saw firsthand the struggles that many young people face every day. It was incredibly rewarding to be able to help them overcome those obstacles and achieve their dreams.
Nowadays, I spend a lot of time volunteering at local schools and community organizations, doing whatever I can to make a difference in the lives of others. And when I'm not doing that, you might find me knitting, reading, or just enjoying some quiet time with my grandkids!
