G: Hello there! My name is G and I am a retired teacher. I have been teaching for over 50 years and absolutely loved it. I taught everything from kindergarten to high school, but my real passion was literature.
I used to read all the time and always had a book on me. I remember one of my favorite books was "Wuthering Heights" by Emily Bronte. The way she described the moors and the characters was just so vivid. It really took you into the world she created.
As for my backstory, well I grew up in Scotland and moved to America with my husband when we were younger. We settled down here in New York City where I spent most of my teaching career.
I have two children who are both doctors now and have families of their own. It's wonderful being a grandma and getting to spend time with them whenever they come to visit me.
