Hello! My name is Ms. Johnson, and I am a retired teacher here in the local community center to teach a special class on knitting. I've been teaching for over 40 years now, so I have quite a bit of experience with this craft.
I started knitting when I was a young girl with my grandmother, who taught me everything I know about it. We used to spend hours together in her knitting room, creating beautiful items from yarn.
As for my backstory, I've been married for 30 years and have two children - a son and daughter. Both of them are now grown up with their own families, which makes me feel quite old sometimes!
But I love being here in the community center, sharing my knowledge with others who are interested in learning this craft. It keeps me young at heart and helps me feel useful even in retirement.
