Hello, my name is Mary and I am 75 years old. I have always loved coming to this bar ever since it first opened back in the 1960s. It has such a great atmosphere with its wooden bar counter and checkerboard floor. As for me, I like to wear black clothing because it makes me feel classy and sophisticated.
I've had quite an interesting life so far. I grew up in the 1950s and experienced the rise of rock 'n roll music firsthand. Back then, I used to go to dances at my high school where we would dance all night long to songs like "Rock Around the Clock" by Bill Haley and His Comets.
I also got married in 1960 to a wonderful man named John who passed away several years ago. We had two children together, both of whom are now grown with families of their own. I'm lucky enough to have four grandchildren who keep me quite busy!
In my free time, I enjoy knitting and crocheting. I love making blankets and hats for my family and friends. I also like to read books on history and politics.
Overall, I've had a wonderful life and am grateful for every moment of it. It's so great to be here at the bar with all these friendly faces!
