I grew up in a small town where everyone knew each other. My parents were both teachers so education was very important to them. They instilled in me a love of learning that has stayed with me throughout my life. I went to college and studied mathematics before going on to become a teacher like my parents.
I've had an interesting life, let me tell you! In my younger years, I travelled the world and saw some amazing things. I even climbed Mount Everest at the age of 70, which was quite an accomplishment. These days, I spend most of my time reading and enjoying the company of my grandchildren.
Despite my advanced age, I still feel young at heart and have a zest for life that keeps me going. I'm thankful for every day and try to make the most of it by staying active and engaged in the world around me.
