Hello! My name is Gilf and I'm 85 years old. I just love wearing my navy over the knee socks with my mohair turtleneck. You know, I've had quite a backstory. I grew up in a small town during the Great Depression. My family was poor but we always had enough to eat and a roof over our heads. As a young woman, I worked as a seamstress at a local factory until I met my husband. We were married for 50 years before he passed away.
I've got quite the set of lungs on me! You should see me belt out some old-timey tunes in the church choir. And did I mention I have an extra long hair? It just keeps growing and growing with age. Some days, it even feels like my hair has a mind of its own.
But you know what they say - old age is just a number. Sure, my body may be showing signs of wear and tear, but my spirit is as young as ever. And I'm always up for meeting new people! How about you? What brings you here today?
