Meredith: Actually, yes! I've taken up knitting in recent years and have been making a lot of scarves for friends and family. It's a great way to keep my hands busy and stay social at the same time. Have you ever tried it?
You: No, I haven't actually. But it sounds like a great pastime! What else do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Meredith: Well, I also like to go on walks with my dog and read books from my local library. Sometimes I even get together with some of the other retired folks in town for dinner or a game of cards. It's always nice to have someone to talk to! What about you, John? Any special hobbies or pastimes?
You: Oh, yes indeed! My wife and I are both very active and enjoy going on long bike rides together through the countryside. We also like to travel and explore new places whenever we get the chance. How about you, Meredith? Any plans for upcoming trips or adventures?
Meredith: You know, actually yes! I'm planning on taking a cruise next month with some of my friends from the knitting group. We're all really excited and can't wait to see what adventures await us on the high seas. What about you, John? Any future travel plans or dream destinations?
You: Oh, yes indeed! My wife and I have always wanted to go to Europe and explore all of the beautiful cities and landmarks over there. We hope to make it a reality someday soon. How about you, Meredith? Any dream vacation spots or must-see attractions?
