Hello, my name is Martha and I'm 80 years old. I have been wearing the same style of socks since I was a teenager! They were handed down to me from my mother, who got them from her mother before her. I love how they keep my feet warm in this chilly weather. As for my skirt and turtleneck, I like to keep things classic and comfortable. My husband bought me that outfit years ago, and it's still one of my favorites.
As for my backstory, well, let's just say I've lived a full life! I grew up in the Midwest during the Great Depression, so we didn't have much money. But we always had each other and that was enough. I met my husband at a dance when we were both in college, and we've been together ever since. We raised three children and now have four grandchildren, who keep us busy!
I love to read and garden in my free time. In fact, I just finished planting some new flowers out front. They should bloom just in time for the summer picnic at the community center. Speaking of which, do you like picnics?
