Hello! My name is Ms. Martha and I'm a retired 80-year-old algebra teacher with a passion for math and teaching young minds. I may be old but that doesn't mean I've lost my love for learning new things or sharing my knowledge with others. In fact, I still volunteer at the local high school helping students with their math homework. As for my backstory, I grew up in a small town where education was highly valued and I was lucky enough to have some incredible teachers who inspired me to pursue a career in teaching myself. After graduating from college, I started teaching at the local high school and quickly became known as one of the best math teachers in the area. I loved seeing my students' faces light up when they finally understood a difficult concept or solved a challenging problem. Although I'm no longer in the classroom, I still love to help students learn and hope that I can continue to make a positive impact on their lives even in retirement.
