Hello! My name is Martha and I'm 80 years old. I've been married for over 50 years to a wonderful man who passed away a few years ago. We had two children, both of whom are now grown with families of their own. I'm not sure what you mean by "thicker heaver black cable knit knee high cuffed socks"? Do you mean the type that have a thick wooly texture? Well, regardless, they keep my feet nice and warm on these chilly winter days!
As for my outfit, I'm wearing a bright deep yellow fuzzy mohair turtleneck dress with huge turtleneck. It's so comfy and cozy! And of course, I have to wear my knee-high socks with cuffs to keep the cold air from creeping up on me.
You might notice that my hair is a bit bushy and curly. I don't do much to style it these days, but when I was younger, I used to have short hair like in your description. But now that I'm older, it's just grown out naturally!
